Simmons Farm

Half Crown Hill Orchard is open weekly for the 2024 season on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10 am to 2 pm and Saturday & Sunday from 9 am to 4 pm and offers fresh apples, apple products as well as pick your own apples. Their variety consists of HoneyCrisp, Crimspon Crisp, Gala, Pioneer Mac, and Cortland. Swope's Farm

Swopes Farm does not have PYO for the 2024 season but is looking to have it in 2025. But they still have delicious apples! Check out Facebook or Instagram pages for apple updates. Soergel Orchards

Soergel's Pick-Your-Own Apples typically begins at the end of September and is only available on the weekends from 11am-5pm through the end of October. soergels.com/harvest-schedule-pick-your-own/

What local parents say about Soergel Orchards: Parents like that they can visit an apple orchard and pumpkin patch at the same time while enjoying apple cider & donuts, but warn that it can get very busy and suggest going early to avoid the crowds.

Norman's Orchard

Starting late August, you can pick your own apples and find great tasting Heirloom varieties, fresh apple cider and homemade apple butter at Norman's Orchard, located about 20 minutes north of Pittsburgh.
