Pick-your-own farms in Western PA are fun for both kids and adults! Apple picking in Pittsburgh is such a great family afternoon outing on a crisp fall day. Triple B Farms

Apple picking starts in September. Saturday's and Sunday's from 9am-3pm. Check picking schedule to see availability and exact times.


Simmons Farm

170 Simmons Road, McMurray, PA 15317

Apple picking starts daily in September from 10am-5pm, Saturdays & Sundays from 9am-4pm. Days and times may change based on weather conditions and crop supply.  Due to variations in weather, we suggest that you always check the website or call ahead (724-941-1490) before arriving.

Half Crown Hill Orchard

600 North Branch Rd, McDonald PA, 15057


Open select hours during apple harvest season and offers fresh apples, apple products as well as pick your own apples. Their variety consist of HoneyCrisp, Ginger Gold,
Buckeye Gala, Gale Gala Pioneer Mac., Cortland and Blondee. Please their website, Facebook, or call at 412-913-4981 before visiting the orchard for the most updated information.

Soergel Orchards

2573 Brandt School Road, Wexford, PA 15090

Soergel's Pick-Your-Own apples typically begins at the end of September and is only available on the weekends from 11am-5pm through the end of October.

Norman's Orchard

2318 Butler Logan Road, Tarentum 15084

Starting late August, you can pick your own apples and find great tasting Heirloom varieties, fresh apple cider and homemade apple butter at Norman's Orchard, located about 20 minutes north of Pittsburgh. Shenot Farm

3754 Wexford Run Road, Wexford 15090

Pick your own apples start in September and varieties depend on readiness and change accordingly. Follow Shenot Farn on Facebook for daily selection. $12/peck.
