Pittsburgh Pumpkin Pickin'

Your Guide to Local Pumpkin Patches and the Best Places to Buy Pumpkins in the 'Burgh

By Emily Papa, Macaroni KID Publisher September 7, 2022

Fall is here and you know what that means! Pumpkin Spice Lattes, Pumpkin Pie candles burning, Pumpkin facials... Pumpkin everything!!! For those of us in Pittsburgh with kids, we know that their favorite pumpkin doesn't come in a drink or a scent, but right from a local farm in Western PA!

Are you looking to pick the perfect pumpkin with your kids this year? Or maybe you're just going for the annual photo shoot? Perhaps you'd like to skip the patch but still find the greatest pumpkin in Pittsburgh? Maybe you're just in it for the hayride and want to hit up a new farm every weekend? Our list doesn't discriminate against where you do your pumpkin pickin', so we've rounded up as many local PYO pumpkin patches, farms and organizations in the Pittsburgh area that sell pumpkins and will also update our list with any notable pumpkin deals or specials we come across this fall!
