By Emily Papa, Publisher of Macaroni Kid South Hills July 30, 2024

There are SO many spray parks, splash pads or playgrounds with water features for kids in Pittsburgh and surrounding areas that are completely free and totally fun! If you are looking for splash pads and water parks in or around Baldwin, Bethel Park, Brentwood, Bridgeville, Castle Shannon, Dormont, Jefferson Hills, Mt. Lebanon, Mt. Oliver, Mt. Washington, Pleasant Hills, Pittsburgh, South Park, South Side, Upper St. Clair, West Mifflin or Whitehall PA, then this is the guide for you!

Cool off during hot days from late spring to early fall at Pittsburgh's coolest aquatic facilities—"spray parks!" You don't need swimming skills to enjoy the spray parks. From the tiniest toddler to a pre-teen adventurer, and even those using wheelchairs, children of all ages and abilities enter with equal enthusiasm.

Let your imagination run wild, as movement sensors cause sprayers to magically turn on and off in this three-dimensional world of water. It's guaranteed to bring back memories of running through sprinklers but... this time with a lot more fun, color and movement; and, it's FREE!

Browse our interactive map to find a splash park near you or scroll through each splash pad by area to search by features you may be looking for. The Macaroni KID Pittsburgh Publisher's are on a personal mission to find you any and all spray parks in Pittsburgh and tell you what we like (and don't like) about each one.
