A Note from your Publisher - November 8th, 2021

Hello November!

By Emily Papa, Publisher of Macaroni Kid South Hills November 8, 2021

Hello my South Hills family! I can't believe November is here and already flying by! I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween! It was the absolute best weather we have seen on Halloween in years, so we loved it.

My son originally wanted to be the chocolate part of a s'more, with his Pap as the marshmallow and his dad as the graham cracker; but we had some last-minute setbacks that resulted in us both being s'mores. I had lots of compliments on my creativity, but let me save you some mess for your own DIY s'mores costume. Do NOT attempt to glue real chocolate to your head. It's a terrible, sticky, horrible idea.

My daughter and her bestie dressed up as characters from a Disney Show, Liv & Maddie using this as their inspiration photo. I think they nailed it! Scroll through the IG photos below to see for yourself!

We also had the opportunity to see Simone Biles in the Gold Over America Tour at PPG Arena. I was SO impressed by the positive messages the performance portrayed and the impact it left on the audience. We had some lucky MacKID readers who went to the show too, and we hope they loved it just as much as we did!
