Summer Reading Ideas, Logs, Incentives & More!!

Looking for a fun way to keep your kids reading this summer? We have compiled a list of resources including business with incentives for reading, reading resources and our awesome Pinterest page has even more fun ideas!  This is an easy and fun way to keep learning going all summer long!


Barnes & Noble- Kids can earn free books.

Book Adventure-  This is similar to the AR programs in school but not affiliated with a classroom.  They read books and take quizzes! 

Chuck E. Cheese- Kids can earn free tokens.

Half Price Books- Kids can earn Bookworm Bucks each month.

Book-it Program- This fun program combines reading, activities games and a chance for your kids to win some prizes!

Libraries- Check with your local library because many have some awesome programs and fabulous prizes!

Junie B. Jones Kids’ Reading Club-  You get a membership card… how cool is that??!!

Scholastic Summer Reading Challenge- Check with your child because you may already be registered for this through your school!  My child came home with a username and password already but you can register them independently too.

Pottery Barn Kids-  They give a great book list too!
