Macaroni KID South Hills strives to help parents in Baldwin, Bethel Park, Brentwood, Bridgeville, Castle Shannon, Dormont, Jefferson Hills, Mt. Lebanon, Mt. Oliver, Mt. Washington, Pleasant Hills, Pittsburgh, South Park, South Side, Upper St. Clair, West Mifflin, Whitehall and the cities in between Find their Family Fun; and for those of us with little littles, keep them busy from day to day. Through the recent pandemic, many local story times were cancelled or went virtual. We are seeing more and more libraries open up their story times for the summer of 2022 with no registration needed. However, some still require pre-registration to limit occupancy. While this information is accurate at time of publication, please always verify details with the venue prior to arrival.

Baldwin Public Library
Tuesday's (bi-weekly) 10:30am - 11:30am Little Sprouts Gardening Program
Families can join in together for a hands-on gardening story time which will involve a story followed by an activity involving planting seeds, flowers, herbs etc. Make and take home a small herb garden and construct fairy houses. Registration Required.
Thursday's (bi-weekly) 10:30 - 11am Beach Blanket Babies (ages 0-2)
Through stories, fun and engaging songs, rhymes, musical instruments and bubbles, babies ages 0-2 can enjoy their first early literacy experience at the library! Bethel Park Public Library
Tuesdays at 10am and 11am - Toddler Tuesdays (ages 2-3)
Stories, songs, rhymes and more comprise this 30 minute class. Each class is followed by a themed activity. Registration is required.
Wednesday's at 10am and 11am- Mother Goose on the Loose (ages 0-3)
This nationally-acclaimed early literacy program will build reading readiness skills through stories, music, movement, and more.
Thursdays at 10am and 11am - Baby Jam (ages 0-2)
In this class you will find songs, rhymes, knee bounces and more for baby and caregiver.
Dormont Public Library
Family Storytimes are back! Join the Dormont Public Library Tuesdays at 11:30am or Thursdays at 1:30 pm for stories and a craft that you can take home with you. Upper St Clair Township Library
Daily June 13-August 14th Summer Reading Story Stroll at Wiltshire Park

Whitehall Public Library
Summer Schedule runs June 1 - August 9th
Tuesday's 10:30am - 11am Preschool Storytime (ages 3-5)
Each week there will be a different theme. Activities include reading stories, singing songs, and having a craft activity available to either complete at the library or take home.
Wednesday's 10:30-11am Toddler Time (ages 2-3)
This early literacy class will include stories, rhymes, flannel board activities, music and movement, an art activity and more.
Thursday's 10:30-11am Book Babies (ages 0-2)
This interactive storytime focuses on rhymes, songs, fingerplays, a story and more.
