So far, 2024 has proven to be a beautiful summer in Western PA. Here in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, we like to celebrate beautiful weather by spending as much time outdoors as possible. What better way to do that than by attending family friendly FREE Summer concert series put on by our local communities? Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival

10 Days of free music and art May 31st - June 9th. 

WYEP Summer Music Festival @ Schenley Plaza

This all-day long festival will take place in Schenley Plaza on June 29th. 

Jam at Grandview - Saturdays, August 3 –31 from 7 – 8:30 p.m.

Summer Concert Series @ Green Tree Park Gazebo - Thursday's 7pm-9pm
905 Greentree Road, Greentree, PA 15220

Starting Thursday, July 11th, hang out in Green Tree Park from 7-9pm for some great summertime music.  Bring a chair or blanket and settle down near the Green Tree Park Gazebo for a variety of music all summer long.  All concerts are free and open to the public and run every Thursday through September 5th.


McKeesport Summer Concert Series @ Renzie Park - Sunday's 7pm
McKeesport, PA

Join family, friends and neighbors every Sunday evening for 'McKeesport Concerts in the Park'. This weekly outdoor concert series is proudly sponsored by the City of McKeesport, the McKeesport Lions Club and RAD. All performances begin at 7 pm on the Lions Band Shell stage in scenic Renziehausen Park and are subject to change due to inclement weather, band cancellation, or poor ground conditions.


Music in the Park @ Mt. Lebanon Park 
Mt. Lebanon PA

Mt. Lebanon Recreation is rockin' so get pumped up with this summer concert series! Relax beneath the trees on a blanket or lounge chair in Mt. Lebanon Park, or dance the night away on the basketball courts. Concerts are free to the public and are held on the basketball courts just below Mt. Lebo Stadium. The concert schedule includes:

  • July 4 – The Delaney’s – 7:30-9:30 p.m.
  • July 28 – Uptown Rhythm and Brass – 7:00-8:30 p.m.
  • August 11 – Key West Express – 7:00-8:30 p.m.

Allegheny County Summer Concert Series @ Hartwood Acres Park Amphitheater - Sunday's 7:30 pm

4070 Middle Road, Allison Park, PA 15101

Allegheny County Summer Concert Series hosted in the open-air Hartwood Acres Park Amphitheaters are FREE and begin Sunday nights starting May 31st at 7:30 pm unless otherwise noted, rain or shine. Food trucks, Bella Terra Vineyards and Hop Farm Brewing Co. craft beer will be on-site at all concerts starting at 6:00 pm. The gate to the amphitheater parking lot opens at 3:00 pm unless otherwise noted.

This free outdoor summer event series, which begins June 15 and runs through August 23, celebrates Pittsburgh’s rich cultural landscape with a summer of flourish, including revitalizing outdoor performances, art-making and viewing, local food trucks, and—new this year—Saturday workshops curated by YOGAMOTIF for the mind, body, and spirit.

On Thursday Nights from 5 to 9 p.m., dance your heart out or relax into the evening as the talent of Pittsburgh’s expansive nightlife scene takes over. DJs, musicians, and dancers transform our Sculpture Court into a can’t-miss happy hour dance party.

On Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Sculpture Court becomes your place to imagine, relax, play, and create while immersed in art and performance by regional arts organizations, dance companies, and creative collaborations.

Bach, Beethoven and Brunch @ Mellon Park Sunday's at 10:30am

Satisfy your appetite for classical music by treating yourself to a special Sunday morning composed of Bach, Beethoven and Brunch. This outdoor series in Mellon Park in Shadyside is always a weekend favorite with listeners who bring picnic baskets for a delightful morning of classical music in the park. Don’t miss the “Best Brunch” competition during intermission.  Each of the six performances begins at 10:30am on Sundays, June 23 – July 28.
