Join us for the second Pittsburgh County Fair!
-an urban agricultural celebration of handmade, homegrown, fermented and more from the city of Pittsburgh! This event is being put on in partnership with Ferment Pittsburgh, Grow Pittsburgh, and the City of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, pittsburgh, pgh.
Celebrate local, homegrown, and handmade from around the City!
Local food, Farmers Market, Workshops, Demonstrations, Animals, Entertainment, Family Fun, and more!
This year's demonstrations so far include: sesame oil pressing, sorghum pressing, and grape stomping! Explore seed saving, farm equipment, and fermentation. Participate in the "Best Tomato in Pittsburgh" contest and the Vegetable "Variety Show." Also featuring a farmer kickball game with all of your favorite local, small farms presented by National Young Farmers Coalition.

*We are welcoming food, agricultural-related, and handmade tablers and activities from all sorts including: farms, farmers, gardeners, community gardens, organizations, educators, storytellers, native landscapers, scientists, orchardists, urban husbandry-ists, demo-ers, makers of sustainable things, handy skills, herbalists, sellers of sustainable things, historians, locally-sourced food vendors, silliness, artists, performers, crafters, people who feel like regular 'ol people with neat ideas, etc.
