Description
"Festive Families" Azure Pittsburgh recognizes that autism and related challenges can present barriers to attendance and engagement in a formal concert setting. As we program the highest quality artists, we take care to consider and remove as many barriers as possible to create an engaging, sensory-friendly environment where all people are accepted, embraced and celebrated. Join us as we celebrate traditions of togetherness with an interactive program featuring dancers from Attack Theatre and musicians from CMU. Holiday stories from the audience will be brought to life through improvisatory dance. Masks required plus proof of vaccination or negative Covid test. Each concert features 45 minutes of live music, during which audience members are welcome to sit, stand, walk around, dance, and more. After each concert, attendees may participate in an "Instrument Petting Zoo," where they can learn more about, hold, and even play instruments! There is always a designated Quiet Room, nearby and easy to access. OR, if you cannot make it in person: Join us online for the livestream!
