Description
Our troll friends, Ivy and Fen, are on their way to Phipps for our 2021 Summer Flower Show: The Hidden Life of Trolls! They'll be the hosts of this special show, helping guests navigate through the Conservatory and introducing all the many types of trolls there are to see.
To invite even more trolls to the party, Ivy and Fen are asking Phipps fans ages 12 and under to Make Your Own Troll! Randomly selected troll artworks will be displayed during The Hidden Life of Trolls show at Phipps; artworks will be switched out each month, and parents will receive an email notifying them if their child's artwork is selected.

Here's how children can enter with the help of a parent or caregiver:
- Children should create a work of art on an 8.5" x 11" (or similar) portrait-format sheet of paper. Each work should contain at least one troll! Trolls' looks can range from gorgeous to ugly, cute to brute, so add antlers, six eyes, big ears, gnarly teeth — be creative! Use markers, crayons, paints and more to bring your troll to colorful life. Whatever you choose, Fen and Ivy will love them all!
- Parents and caregivers should use a scanner or smartphone to create a digital copy of the final artwork.
- Parents and caregivers should complete the form below to submit children's work.
Fen and Ivy love getting to know new trolls! Artists are welcome to give a 2 – 3 line description along with the drawing of their trolls. Phipps would love to know your troll's name, favorite color, favorite snack, or any other facts you'd like to share!

Not every troll submitted will appear in our show, but we look forward to featuring as many as we can both in the show and on our Troll Crossing website. Please note there's no submission deadline at this time; we will continue to add new trolls all summer long!
