Since I was a child, my passion has always been art and mathematics. Thus, I’ve lived a dual life as an electrical Engineer and artist for years. Now with 22 years of experience in various roles in the corporate world, I have decided to merge my two worlds for the purpose of inspiring the next generation and the people in my community. I want to build a place where everyone can explore all aspects of STEAM without having to choose between interests. My inspiration for business is Leonardo Da Vinci. Leonardo Da Vinci believed that the knowledge of all things is possible. He didn’t see it necessary to choose and that’s why artist was also, an engineer, an architect, a scientist, a sculptor and a theorist. “Study the science of Art. Study the art of science. Develop your senses, Especially learn how to see. Realize that everything connects to everything else.” Leonardo Da Vinci The quote above relates to me at a personal level, and I want to share it with others. At Da Vinci Workshop & Café, we want to create a motivating space to encourage creativity and fun of making. This will include a quiet place for others to read, work, think, relax while enjoying a cup of coffee or their favorite refreshments and snacks. There will be workstations available to provide hands-on-method with a variety of applications for science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics. This will promote learning and creativity in a safe and productive environment. We will invite others to come and present their works. To do this there will be a gallery where local creative individuals or businesses can present their work and people can appreciate them. At Da Vinci Workshop and Cafe, we embrace the joy of making!
