Sports Business Camp: June 24 - 26, 2024
Get ready to ignite your entrepreneurial spirit as we delve into marketing strategies, athlete management, and the economics of sports. Brace yourself for exclusive behind-the-scenes tours of local professional sports venues, where you'll witness the magic of game day operations firsthand.
Point SPARK Entrepreneurship Camp: June 26 - 28, 2024
Through hands-on workshops, interactive activities, and mentorship sessions, participants will embark on a journey of exploration, creativity, and collaboration. SPARK provides a supportive environment where students can discover their passion for entrepreneurship, develop essential skills, and gain valuable insights into launching their own ventures.
Cinema Arts
2D Animation: July 7 - 19, 2024
Learn the process and fundamentals of 2D character animation at Point Park University. Students will explore this art form by using industry-standard software and facilities to make their own animations. This class culminates in a screening of all final projects for family and friends.
3D Animation: July 7 - 19, 2024
Want to learn how to animate, model, light, texture, or perhaps how to destroy things in 3D using simulations? This is a great opportunity for students to get a start on their animation education. At the close of this program, family and friends will be invited to join us for a project screening.
Editing: July 14 - 19, 2024
During this five-day intensive, students will learn the art and techniques of cinema editing. Lectures will include screenings and in-class exercises providing students with skills to edit their own productions in Adobe Premiere.
Film: July 7 - 19, 2024
Students will learn the fundamentals of single-camera production including the basic aesthetic and technical aspects of producing, directing, editing and cinematography.
Screenwriting: July 7 - 12, 2024
Students will be immersed in all elements of storytelling. Students will create their own unique script, collaborate with fellow writers, and depart with the narrative tools to be successful in the evolving multi-platform storytelling world.

2-week, 3-week, and 6-week options. Virtual or in-person auditions are required.
Summer Dance Workshop: July 15 - 26, 2024
Two weeks are offered Monday through Friday: July 15 - 19 and July 22 - 26. You may choose one or both weeks. No audition is required.
