The Cork 1794: A must-dine brunch experience in Erie, PA

By Emily Papa, Macaroni KID South Hills Publisher March 22, 2024

Our family's brunch experience at The Cork 1794 in Erie was a true highlight of our weekend trip from Pittsburgh. Situated in the heart of Erie, The Cork offers a delightful culinary escape for families seeking a quick getaway.

These delicious pot-stickers were a special treat from the chef, and you can only hope that they make them a staple on the menu! We literally licked the plate clean!

If you hear anything I say, Grilled Glazed Donuts. Get them.

My daughter relished a classic breakfast featuring perfectly cooked eggs, sourdough toast, and crispy home fries, while I indulged in a mouthwatering waffle topped with fresh fruit and fluffy whipped cream. While a plain waffle was not on the menu, the staff at the Cork were more than accommodating to my picky-eater son's wishes.

You can never go wrong with chocolate chip waffles!

The Cork's inviting atmosphere, attentive service, and diverse menu make it a must-visit destination for families exploring Erie. Plus, its convenient location makes it an ideal stop for those embarking on a day trip from Pittsburgh. Whether you're craving a hearty breakfast or a sweet treat, The Cork has something to satisfy every member of the family.

I'm a sucker for a good-looking latte!
