Summertime is right around the corner. After knocking out all the details related to taking your vacation, like booking a hotel, planning your flights, and car shipping, you’ll be more than ready to explore the new places that Pittsburgh has to offer. From outdoor concerts and farmers markets to biking and kayaking, there's something for everyone in this city. 

Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Garden

If you have the chance to spend a summer in Pittsburgh, visiting this beautiful city's Phipps Conservatory and botanical garden would be an absolute must. The conservatory has numerous seasonal events that will captivate everyone in attendance with their beautiful flowers and lush greenery all year round!



Point State Park

Visit Point State Park, where the rocks are fascinating and it's easy to get lost in their stories! The picturesque park is a great place to escape from the bustle of downtown Pittsburgh. With its beautiful confluence and seasonal fountain, there's plenty for you to enjoy here! 

Pittsburgh National Aviary

If you're in Pittsburgh then it's worth your time to visit the National Aviary. This museum is dedicated exclusively to birds, and has over 500 different kinds from around 150 species! You can walk through their free-flying habitat where they'll let themselves drop down right next to you. 



Carnegie Science Center

When the kids are feeling rainy, take them to Carnegie Science Center. There’s an interactive exhibits' hall with plenty of things for all ages; you can also enjoy a movie in their theater or see what it feels like onboard one particular vessel -the Submarine!

Randyland

Make your way to Randyland, located in the Northside! Every day of the week from 10 am-7 pm visitors can visit this adorable oasis that is owned and maintained by one happy artist. You might even spot him outside painting more bright colors onto his outdoor murals while they’re still wet with paintbrush strokes—it's quite captivating, really. 

North Park Lake

If you want an adventure on the water, kayak rentals are perfect. You can go anywhere from North Park Lake or three rivers and they don't require any experience!



Market Square

Market Square, the heart of Downtown Pittsburgh is home to some pretty amazing events all summer long. The greatest thing about Market Square? There are things for the whole family to enjoy. From Yoga in square and PDP Night Markets or Farmers markets - there are so many choices that will keep your folks busy while they're here visiting us at our city center

Coop De Ville

Coop De Ville is the perfect spot for coffee, drinks, and southern cooking located in downtown Pittsburgh's Strip District. The menu features dishes such as chicken nuggets with honey mustard sauce or loaded baked potatoes to pair perfectly alongside one of their many craft beers on tap! For something different but just as delicious try an exotic frozen drink at Coops' tiki bar which includes plenty of fun games like duck pin bowling available too - it won't take long before you're hours deep into this great place.
