With the days getting colder and shorter, so is our ability to take family bike rides. But before we know it, winter in Pittsburgh will be over, and it will be time for family trail rides once again.
Last fall my 5-year-old (now 6-year-old) transitioned from a glider bike into a mountain bike. My 9-year-old daughter is SUPER tall for her age, so she wasn't quite fitting on a kid's bike. That leads me to mama's bike.
After 20 years of only riding my Trek, I finally gave it up for something I love even more.
