24 Bucket List Ideas for Families in the South Hills in 2024

As we turn our calendars to 2024 we're looking forward to a bright year ahead in Pittsburgh, PA. There is so much fun to be had in the South Hills, and my family doesn't want to miss a thing in Pittsburgh in 2024.

So we have created a "South Hills Family Bucket List of Fun" for 2024 and wanted to share it with you! I hope it helps inspire you and your family to get out and explore the South Hills in 2024!

2024 South Hills Family Fun Bucket List

Winter

• Get my kids on the mountains. Maybe on a snowboard at Seven Springs 
• Snow tubing at Boyce Park
• Sled riding on Sunny Slopes in South Park
• Ice skate at the South Park Ice Skating Rink.
• Visit the National Aviary.
• Bowl a strike at Legacy Lanes.
• Go to a Pirates Game (bonus if it’s fireworks night)
• Take a Kayak out on Canonsburg Lake.

Spring

• Become King of the Castle at Pleasant Kingdom 
• Ride the bike trail at Cross Creek Country Park
• Use your imagination in the small city of playhouses at Liliput.
• Bring your small kiddos to The Seesaw Center for engaging indoor play
• Look for creatures in the creeks and woods at Mingo Park.
• Discover dinosaurs at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History.
• Test limits at Dragon’s Den in Homestead.
• PYO apples at Triple B. Farms
