Maker Monday - Monday Sept 27 @ 6:30 PM

Kids in grades 3 and up are invited to join us in the Whitehall Community Room for a Maker Monday!  A makerspace is a place where you can make things, and kids will be able to keep what they make.  It's a place for hands-on learning with all the tools for creativity.  Every month will have a different theme and different tools for the kids to use.  Examples include robotics, 3D pens, circuits, and more!  Projects will be hands-on, open-ended and encourage inventiveness and problem-solving skills.  This month we will explore robotics and kids will make their own ScribbleBot!

Online registration is required at www.whitehallpubliclibrary.org or call 412-882-6622.

Classic Works: Back to School Edition for Adults - Tuesday Sept 28 @ 11:30 AM

After such a long hiatus, it's time to revisit the books from school we couldn't understand or lied about reading altogether.  It's time to give those classroom favorites a second chance!  Let's hit the books!  This month's title is: Ragged Dick: Or, Street Life in New York with the Boot Blacks by Horatio Alger   Questions? Or need to request the book, contact Brandon 412-882-6622 (taperb2@einetwork.net)
