Hi friends! Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I can’t believe we are already approaching August 1, and then dare I say it?
Back to School!
I feel like I have already done so much this summer, but have so much left on my list. This weekend, my family enjoyed a fantastic day a Kennywood Park as we were hosted for their Kids Fest. We rode our favorite rides, ate some delicious cotton candy and ended the day with (my favorite) Dipping Dots. In between all of that, we had some added bonuses from the Kids Fest activities.
When we first got to Kennywood, we participated in a scavenger hunt where we had to find 25 hidden Kenny’s throughout the park. This was fun and engaged the whole family, as everyone got really excited when they found one. Pittsburgh Party Creations were there in character and our kids got to pose with some of their favorites. I even got to sneak a hug with some pups you might know who have a new movie debut coming soon.

Saturday, we attended Touch a Truck at North Strabane Park and had a blast! I'll be sharing more about that next week.
While I sure do love all yinz in the 'Burgh, I have to share that I am SUPER excited to be leaving for a MacKID hosted trip to Punta Cana this week!!! There will be a group of publishers staying at Melia Caribe Beach, a tropical paradise for families! While I will be going without my family on this trip, I can't wait to be able to share with all of you what this destination has to offer! I'll probably be posting to the MacKID South Hills IG account all week, so follow along if you want to dream you are on the beach with me! Until next week!
