Here are five fun things to do with your kids in the South Hills of Pittsburgh this week that you won't want to miss:

1. Touch-a-Truck 🚒 at North Strabane Township Park

Location: North Strabane Park

Cost: FREE

Come to Touch a Truck at North Strabane Park to see your favorite vehicles including fire trucks, police cars, school busses, tractors, the Kennywood Park Trolley, Freedom Transit bus, cranes, and more! Enjoy some good eats with tacos from Totopo on Wheels, Icees from Kona Ice, and dessert from Nothing Bundt Cakes!

Your little ones will love getting to meet their favorite superheroes, royalty, puppies, and pals! Enjoy special character meet-and-greets and fun kid-friendly activities. If you look closely, you might see some Macaroni Mama's and their kiddos there riding rides! We'll race you to the Racer!!


3. Go to a Car Show 🚗

Location: Pittsburgh, Homestead and Shadyside

Cost: FREE or $10

Look at the hottest cars and the most vintage cars in PA, with your friends and family. Spend the day with your car lover, wishing you had one of them. In Homestead, check out the Waterfront Car Cruise and see the vintage cars on display before the races over the weekend. Shadyside is hosting its Walnut Street Invitational Car Show, with the most exotic cars you'll see before their car show a few days later. Pittsburgh's Downtown Car Display will have three distinct displays of racecars and show cars. Even if you don't know the first thing about cars, looking at these rare beauties is always a cool time.


4. Enjoy a Summer Concert Series
