The EMPATHY Project is a social and emotional learning program that will engage children in grades K-2 in literacy activities designed to expand their capacity for managing tough emotions. We'll build literacy skills through listening to and reading books that explore emotions and develop skills to make friends, problem solve, and increase self-awareness. The focus on community and creating alliances to be inclusive will be the leading theme of the program.
