Snowball Day

Save a Snowball Now!

By Emily Papa, Publisher of Macaroni Kid South Hills February 22, 2021

Before the rain comes and melts all the snow, go outside and make yourself a snowball that you can store in the freezer. Now why would I tell you to do such a thing? A favorite event at the Carnegie Science Center is Snowball Day (which happens to be in June). Make a snowball now and bring it to the Carnegie Science Center on June 20th for $5 general admission tickets. The fun doesn't stop there as you head to the Snowball Launch Site where you will learn about potential and kinetic energy by designing catapult. You don't even have to worry about saving the date on your event calendar because we will remind you to take Frosty out of your freezer this summer!
