As a Pittsburgh mama, it can be hard sometimes to find an attraction that appeals to kids of all ages, let alone the parents. Urban Air Adventure Park located in Robinson is sure to provide hours of fun for adventurers of all ages!
When you walk through the doors of Urban Air Adventure Park it's likely you may be greeted by someone flying through the air on the Sky Rider. To your immediate left you will find computers where you will fill out your waivers if you haven't already completed them online prior to arrival. Behind the computers you will see 5 different types of Climbing Walls; the Stairway to Heaven, and the Leap of Faith (all for kiddos 41" and taller). Walk on in to the Welcome Counter to purchase your tickets and socks. Walking further into the park you will see the Sky Rider Harnessing Area, Tubes Indoor Playground and Ropes Course to your left. On your immediate right you will see the Soft Play area for tiny tots that is surrounded by lounge chairs so mama can take a break! Behind the Soft Play area are lockers for any valuables you'd like to keep locked up during your play time. If you're just storing shoes, there are cubbies behind the Indoor Playground. In the center of the park is the Virtual Reality Circle where kids and adults can enter a world of make believe and work together to find their way out of it. The very back of the park hosts tables and benches for the public right outside their café. In addition, there are private rooms behind glass if you were hosting a party there and looking for a little privacy! The remaining attractions are up the ramp and spread throughout the park.
My family has come to Urban Air multiple times during COVID and the kids (and adults) have a blast each time. Upon arriving, we have had our temperature taken at the door prior to entering. I was super impressed with their frequent cleaning throughout our visit as well as their mask and social distancing policies. Chance are you will find us there on a Friday during $9.99 Jumparoo time for kids 5 and under!
Check out how much fun YOU could be having at Urban Air! Share your photos with us on social media using #macaronikidsouthhills for a chance to be featured on our social media and don't forget to tell Urban Air you heard about them from Macaroni Kid!
