The annual Christmas Tree Recycling kicked off this morning at 8 AM to allow residents to drop off Christmas trees. All lights, decorations, tinsel and stands must be removed from trees prior to drop-off. Trees will be mulched and used in the county parks.
The program runs through Sunday, January 14, 2024, at all nine county parks and is available from 8:00 am until dusk, daily.

During the 2022-23 program, over 3,000 trees were received and recycled, with the resulting mulch used for various purposes throughout the park system’s 12,000+ acres.
