Notes from September 24th, 2020

It's a #boymoms worst nightmare. You are headed down the stairs, into the kitchen for a midnight snack when all of a sudden.....

You step on that one matchbox truck you missed putting away... A scream escapes your lips as the head lamps pierce into the bottom of your foot and you stumble forward in the dark, half gliding on the truck and half falling. Ugh. Super awkward and painful. That's what I get for late night editing. 

Why am I up so late? I'm not gonna lie, moving this newsletter to Thursday morning really has me thrown off. I've always been that person who starts my week on Monday's so publishing Sunday night to reach your inbox Monday morning seemed natural to me. This having it all done by Wednesday night (which traditionally when I was working was my lax/catch up day) has challenged me. I'll get into a better rhythm though.

Plus, I wouldn't be up so late working if I wasn't SO FREAKING EXCITED about everything that is going on with Macaroni Kid. I just can't help myself! Where to start....

ALL (CLEAN HANDS) ON DECK!!!
I'd have to say what I am most excited about right now is our Boo Basket's. We are working with some AWESOME local individuals and businesses to put together some AMAZING Boo Basket's with tricks and treats for families in the South Hills!! These bags will be prepared with cleaned hands per CDC guidelines and dropped off at the doors of unsuspecting houses in early October. Want to get in on this fun? Speaking of social media, another fist pump is coming from 1) MKSH switched over to a business Instagram (if you aren't following us yet we could totally use your support) and 2) I FINALLY got Facebook and Instagram connected! Woot woot! #smallwins 

Lastly, I am super excited about Macaroni Kid Act of Kindness week. I've got a few low-key things planned and then some bigger things.
