Fourth Of July Marshmallows!

By Macaroni Kid Of Pittsburgh LLC June 30, 2021

Gather supplies:  Marshmallows, skewers or popsicle sticks, white Karo syrup, CLEAN paint brushes, sprinkles, anything container to put the finished product in and foam if needed to keep sticks in place!

Paint white corn syrup on the marshmallows.

Dip the parts with the syrup into sprinkles of your choice!  (I tried several techniques and this was much easier for the kids and made less of a mess!)

Depending upon your container you have available, you may need a small piece of foam in the bottom to keep your sticks in place.

Once your sticks are in place, you may want to give it a nice finished look by covering the foam and bottom of the sticks with something clever... like cotton candy!

***This took less than 5 minutes to make and would make a cute hostess gift or party favor for your 4th of July party!  If you make this on a larger scale, it would be great as an addition to the dessert table.  It's also easy enough to put out the supplies and let the kids at the party make their own!
